Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-07-15

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PassKub (the "App"), a password and PIN manager for Android, iOS, and Chrome/Edge/Safari/Firefox, provided by Trust me secure ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using PassKub, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What PassKub is

PassKub stores your passwords, PINs, and related notes ("vault") locally on your device, encrypted with a key derived from your own master password ("keypass") using Argon2id, and encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. The App works fully offline by default. Signing in for the optional Premium plan (see §4) additionally lets you sync an encrypted copy of your vault across your own devices.

We never have access to your keypass or your unencrypted vault contents. This means:

  • We cannot recover your data if you forget your keypass — there is no "forgot password" for the vault itself.
  • We cannot read, and have no technical ability to read, your stored passwords, PINs, or notes, whether or not Premium sync is enabled.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use PassKub. You are responsible for:

  • Choosing a strong, memorable keypass and keeping it secret. Anyone with your keypass (or an unlocked, unattended device) can access your vault.
  • All activity that occurs through your unlocked device or signed-in session.
  • Keeping your own backups. We strongly recommend enabling Premium sync or another backup method if losing your device would be a problem — local-only vaults have no server-side copy to restore from.

3. Free features

The core vault (create, edit, search, autofill, and locally store an unlimited number of entries) is free and works entirely offline. No account or payment is required for these features.

4. Premium subscription

Premium adds encrypted cloud sync across your devices, one-time QR/NFC device-to-device transfer conveniences, and device migration. Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) or, on some platforms, a reusable one-time activation code.

  • Automatic renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same length and at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Price and billing. Current prices and subscription lengths are shown in the App and in the relevant app store listing before you subscribe, and are billed by the platform you subscribed through:
    • Browser extension: billed by Stripe; manage or cancel via the link in your purchase confirmation email or by contacting service@passkub.com.
    • iOS: billed by Apple; manage or cancel in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone/iPad.
    • Android: billed by Google Play; manage or cancel in the Google Play Store app → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  • No partial refunds for the remainder of a billing period when you cancel, except where required by law or by the platform's own refund policy (Apple's and Google's refund policies apply to purchases made through their stores; we do not process those refunds ourselves).
  • One device at a time. A Premium subscription or activation code is bound to one account/device at a time; moving it to a new device deactivates it on the previous one (see the App's own Device Migration feature for a guided transfer that also copies your vault contents).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use PassKub to store or process anything unlawful.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass the App's encryption, licensing, or anti-abuse mechanisms except to the extent such restrictions are unenforceable under applicable law.
  • Interfere with or overload the backend service (the Cloudflare Worker that mediates sync/billing) or attempt to access another user's encrypted data.

6. Third-party services

PassKub's optional Premium features rely on third-party infrastructure: Supabase (authentication and encrypted-sync storage), Cloudflare (the API), and Stripe or the relevant app store's billing system for payment. Your use of those integrations is also subject to each provider's own terms. See our Privacy Policy for details on what each of them receives.

7. Intellectual property

PassKub's software, design, and branding belong to Trust me secure or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding. You retain all rights to the content of your own vault.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

PassKub is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any encrypted data can always be recovered — in particular, losing your keypass means your local vault cannot be recovered by anyone, including us.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trust me secure is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use PassKub, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using PassKub at any time by deleting the App. We may suspend or terminate access to Premium features (e.g., for a violation of §5) with notice where practicable. Sections 7–9 and any other provision that by its nature should survive will survive termination.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except where applicable consumer protection law in your own country/region requires otherwise.
